Homeless, pennyless old man braves winter chill
Even the bright sun shining down this December morning failed to bring warmth in the life of 70-year-old Kanshi Ram. Shivering in the verandah of a shop in Sector 9 here, he cried over the loss of his only worldly possessions- a blanket, two shirts and a pair of socks. The bag containing his meagre possessions was stolen last evening.
Jeevan Mukt Mission is a society registered with Haryana Government. It was started three years back in 2002 by Mr. Mansa Ram Ahuja.Jeevan Mukt Mission is totally committed to bring Universal Literacy because ignorance due to illiteracy is the main cause of human suffering in life. The organization is determined to achieve this aim and has devoted itself to this cause since its inception in 2002. In this short period it has proved that absolute devotion and faith can never fail and today it has more than 1200 children from the lowest rungs of society like the slums, under it's care who are doing well in the schools and it's free education centers in the backward areas.
Our aim is to eradicate illiteracy from each and every part of this earth. Jeevan Mukt Mission runs Jeevan Mukt Nishulk Vidyalaya which provides free education to the needy.
Our objectives are, To provide, free education, clothing and medical facilities to the needy, to bring younger and elder orphans, to promote mutual help, support, to provide vocational education to develop self enterpreneurship, to spread awareness, about social evils and problem prevailing in society.
